Bec and I stayed in Cabin 3 overlooking Eagle Lake. We had an amazing time. The fishing was GREAT!!! The Eagles soaring and Loons calling was just the added touch to fish biting. One day it rained and we were welcomed in to the Lodge to play cards and sit around and visit. I have stayed many places, but not any one that was as friendly and attentive as here. I fell in love with the quaint and clean cabin. I cannot wait to go again next year. We are hoping to make it up a few times next year!! We saw deer and Beaver as well. So very peaceful.

Memorial Day week 2017 we had a great vacation staying at Eagle Lake Lodge. Unlike most, we came to the area to ride our bicycles. Many of the roads had 4 or 5 foot shoulders so we felt safe riding the roads. Most of the area is flat and scenic. We had many delicious meals at the local restaurants while sitting on their decks with beautiful lake views. Two half days we road the Paul Bunyon trail which is a short drive away. One day we road fat bikes at the Cuyuna State Park (a dream destination for soft trail riders). Two nights we played golf. Everything at the resort was what we hoped for - nice staff, clean facilities, lots to do. I look forward to returning to Eagle Lake Lodge for another vacation.

I hate to do it, but I have to make a complaint. Time just went WAY too fast last week during our stay at ELL. No sooner had we gotten there, and suddenly it was over! As we told Lisa this, Saturday morning when we were leaving, she said, "Well, time flies when you're having fun!" And isn't that the truth! We had an awesome time. It's THE best place to be to escape the chaos of every day life. Good Old Fashioned FAMILY Fun! Jeff and Lisa, thanks AGAIN!

As I prepare for our trip to the Mighty Eagle this morning, the trip I have made so many times before, I see the excitement in my children's eyes, as they look up at me. Its the same sensation I felt looking up at my Grandpa Jim all those early Saturday mornings. Reflecting back on those early departures brings up a lot of good memories of the time I got to spend with him. Just the whole idea of vacationing in a place as sentimental as Eagle Lake in large part due to him. Grandpa Jim, although you haven't gone for a Number of years, it seems like yesterday I was renting you my latest HOT lure for 50 cents. I still have that lure and every time I look at it, my mind races with great memories! Grandpa Jim thank you for all you have done for me, especially Eagle Lake!

The Mighty Eagle will give up the big fish to me this year!

After a LONG drive home, we pulled into our driveway, only to hear, "Turn around, we want to go back!". It wasn't just the kids saying that, but Brian too! :) We've taken some pretty great vacations, and this one rates as one of the tops. The memories we're making with our kids will definitely last a lifetime! Thanks Jeff and Lisa!

My father started fishing Eagle Lake in the late 1940's. Starting in the early 1950's, our family vacation always included at least 2 weeks at the Eagle Lake Lodge. Then when I had a family of my own, we always spent our family vacations at the Eagle Lake Lodge fishing Eagle Lake. It is a wondeful place to vacation and the fishing has always been wonderful. I would not trade those family memories and great fishing for anything.

Thank you Jeff and Lisa for showing our group a great time again this year! Not only was the cabin perfect for our group the fishing was also great! Thanks for showing us the right spot to fish Jeff, I was going to head there next.... probably not, ha ha, I would of traveled the whole lake without finding a spot like that, you are the fishing master. Also a big thank you to Lisa for helping us out when my car keys were misplaced, this just goes to show you guys are the best managers of any resort. Going above and beyond so we can have a great time. Thanks again, we will see you next year!! Wooo Hooo

What an awesome week of fishing it was, I hate it when Saturday comes around and it is time to go. Thanks for telling us about the meat raffle, Chloe says she is ready to be a meat hog again next year. Thank you Lisa and Jeff for being such great hosts. The kids loved riding the golf carts (along with grandma) and we enjoyed the garage time (first time we have ever done that as well). It was great getting to know the people in the other cabins. See you next June!

Jeff and Lisa,

You guys are amazing! Our vacation was much more than I expected. You guys were a big reason why! Your hospitality and attention to detail was tremendous. Even though the resort was full it felt like we were the only people there. I'll definitely be telling my friends about Eagle Lake Lodge! Thank you!
